You can do pretty much anything using Skechup, the possibilities are endless. You could build a house, a pool, or even a replica of a famous painting. You could build the interior of a house using the 3D Warehouse, it is actually quite useful. Almost everything in Sketchup is started and finished with a click.

1.) If you triple-click (3 times) on the select tool, you select everything
2.) You can use the same measurements on the offset and push/pull tool by double-clicking (2 times)
3.) While you using either the rectangle, offset, or push/pull tool (or anything to do with measurement) you can type in what measurements you need to make everything exact.
4.) You can use the Tape Measure tool to get guides for straight lines and to make everything exact.
